Activities Fee Schedule

* Starting September 1, 2019 there will be a 3% user fee for all credit card payments in the athletic registration website.  However, the "Pay Later" option allows you to pay participation fees in the high school office in cash or check and avoid the 3% credit card user fee.

Category I Activities:

Fee charged, MSHSL sponsored competition and eligibility. $175

Esko Hosted Activities:

  • Baseball Golf (Boys & Girls)
  • Softball
  • Basketball
  • Cross Country Running
  • Track
  • Football
  • Soccer (Girls)
  • Volleyball

Cooperative Hosted Activities:

Esko is a member of a cooperative agreement to host various activities. The host school (Cloquet) establishes the fee for the following cooperatively sponsored activities.

  • Hockey (Boys & Girls)
  • Swimming (Boys & Girls)
  • Slalom Skiing
  • Wrestling
  • Cross Country Skiing (Nordic)
  • Soccer (Boys)

Category II Activities:

Fee charged, MSHSL eligibility followed for participation. $100

  • Jr. High Sports
  • One Act Play
  • Knowledge Bowl
  • Speech
  • Robotics
  • Math League
  • Musical

Category III Activities:

Fee charged, MSHSL eligibility followed for participation: $85

  • Cheerleading
  • Jr. High Knowledge Bowl
  • Fall Play
  • Jr. High Math League

No Fee Activities:

MSHSL eligibility followed for participation.

  • Concert Band
  • Jazz Band
  • Peer Helper
  • Concert Choir
  • Swing Choir
  • Student Government
  • Musician, stage crew, techs for fall/one act plays Sports Manager/Statisticians

Students qualifying for free or reduced lunch will pay reduced fee.

STUDENT MAXIMUM FEES:

  • Sr. High Activities $350
  • Jr. High Activities $200

(Cooperative fees paid to other schools will not count towards student maximums).

  1. Participation fees must be paid by the second Monday of the season.
  2. Participation fees are refunded only if the individual does not make the team or quits before the first contest of the season. A participation fee refund application can be found under "other forms". This form must be filled out by the applicant and signed by the coach. Refunds will be issued by the District Office and sent to the student's home. No cash refunds will be given. (See Participation Fee Refund Application).
  3. If a student qualifies for free lunch, the participation fee will be waived and if he/she qualifies for reduced lunch the fee will be 1/2 the amount.
